I needed a quick reset with happenings’ in all of my relationship categories —in no order; love, marriage, family, friendship, and work. So I booked a lil’ trip to Asheboro, NC or whatever.

My energy expands through self-reflection so Gateway Asheboro, a “Handcrafted Hideaway” was the perfect way to re-up. The cabin was equipped with everything I needed, well designed and esthetically pleasing.
It was my pleasure (shout out to Chic-Fil-A) finding delight in uncertainty through solitary activities; reading, writing, hiking and cooking. Uncertainty is the place where we learn if we are certain about something 🤔
Our most difficult problems often stem from uncertainty; anxiety, frustration with others, procrastination, health issues, relationship issues, financial issues, control or perfectionist issues.
I’m not a therapist, but a long, long, very long time ago I stayed at a Holiday Inn —once.
How I reset? In peace and quiet, full of contemplation, with few tasks, close to nature.

Honor your need to be alone. Celebrate yourself with this unstructured time, you have a BIG opportunity to find a new path for yourself allowing you to get away from it all. I document my experience(s) via journaling and photography. This allows me to capture the moments and escape back to them whenever needed.
Technology
Time is running and past and passing and running
Move at my own pace. “Fuck a beat, I go A cappella, Fuck a Papa Doc, fuck a clock, fuck a trailer.” Sleep in, eat what and when you want and at a slow, leisurely pace. Sit still and peaceful when you're feeling idle.
There is something about being outside in nature that makes you feel better emotionally, it also contributes to your physical well-being by producing Cortisol.
Engineering
We gotta make moves. Never, ever, ever could we fake moves.
While it can be tempting to lay in the bed and dream about money, cars and hose all day —to recharge you should stay active. Physical activity like hiking combined with fresh air and sunshine, will improve mental function and alertness.
