Random Observation #2,920
Yesterday I made an appointment with my primary care physician for a physical, I’m “I only need a physical every two years” old. I have been seeing my Dr. for a very long time and believe he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. That being written I am reminded of a conversation we had years ago and it is (was) the catalyst for a shift in the way I live. I had been in and out of the office for a myriad of reasons; skin, ears, eyes, knee, mouf’… overall bad health. I believe that all were directly (or indirectly) related to my weight. It was a vicious cycle;
I eat because I am unhappy – I am unhappy because I eat.
I blamed it on stress and not having enough money, what doc said next would change my life.
& I quote
“You will never make enough money”
I kept waiting for the rest, it never came and I was put off — until I wasn’t. It makes Mr. Miyagi sense. There are two ways to be rich
(1) Desire less
(2) Earn more
Most of us will get busy earning more, I’m focusing on a dynamic balance between both.
I remain,
B
