Life & Music. Before The Ink Dry - EP
I’ve expressed my love for music, and y’all know I’m a bit kooky. I often relate things happening in my life to the music I listen to. While it’s not always specific to the song’s lyrics or meaning, a phrase, a verse, or the hook may spark a thought.

I’ve been sad lately, but being aware has kept me focused on health and exercise. Health is the vital principle of bliss, and exercise of health. Being unhappy sometimes allows the space to reflect and plan and is a normal human emotion. I was also reminded by my Cynsation…
“Also, remember, when we lose weight, we release emotions, which can make us feel down too.”

Lessons
One of the most reflective lessons I’ve learned as part of my continuing singlism centers around the creation of stories about ourselves and potential partners— who they are, how they perceive us, how they treat us, and how we both fit into each other's lives. If you believe I am a duck in your story, you will seek evidence to support it. Read: Makeup Shit But Brian? quipped the reader, what is the lesson?
Take care when creating stories about yourself and about your partner. Believing you’re not attractive or good enough can dictate how you think and move; subconsciously, this may develop into a story of incompatibility. “Feeling” incompatible comes from not making it a priority to understand each other in a sincere, heartfelt way. I ain’t gon’ hold you some folks are fundamentally incompatible. You won’t know your true potential together until you’ve taken care to meet each other’s needs.
To do that, you have to take control of the stories you create.
