Random Observation About Nothing #2,549,954

I’ve been married twice, both times to a Virgo. Their quirks and classic traits have become my baseline. Eighteen years with one and over twenty with the other have shaped my entire adult life. If you asked me how a woman would act in any given scenario, my perspective would be undeniably influenced by my experiences with them.

“This morning I hopped up out of bed, turned my swag on, took a look in the mirror, said, ‘What’s up?’ Yeah, I’m gettin’ money, oh.”

As I prepared to earn that money, a flashback hit me. While looking in the mirror, I recalled two post-marriage situationships where the quirks and traits felt oddly familiar. I’m using to me language… I believed these women valued security and stability and preferred to stick with what was familiar and comfortable. As a result, change was one of their fears, and at times that fear was projected onto me. Both would ask why I did things a certain way, not out of curiosity but very matter-of-factly, as if I should do it their way.

Both were Taurus.

I find it curious how the zodiac can script our lives. With each Virgo and Taurus, their traits weren’t just random quirks but a pattern, almost like a celestial script.

Some people believe the stars are entirely responsible for everything that happens, a belief known as determinism. Others believe they have free will and the ability to affect their future, a belief known as indeterminism.

No matter your ‘minism, the stars do have a say in our stories.

Press on, quipped the stars, Brian? If the sky is the limit, WTF is outer space?
